The past week was the first Christmas since 2007 that all the Conklins were together and one tiny Conklin has joined us since then! I'll post some family shots, but for now, here are a few of my favorite snow pictures. I've loved the cold (down to 3 degrees one night!) and I can't get enough of the snow-covered evergreen branches, but I'll be happy to head home tomorrow to milder temperatures. One week of deep winter is about right for me.

Winter wonderland
On the second day of Christmas, we hopped on a plane and left behind the rain and mid-40s temps of western Oregon, and landed just one hour later in Spokandyland, site of the 1974 World's Fair and birthplace of Captain Brody Conklin.
